2ND PLACE
Half-Life 2: Classic
For: Half-Life
Half-Life 2 Classic is a Half-Life 1 mod that aims to recreate the entirety of Half-Life 2. Why? Mainly, just for fun, but also because a lot of people like how the goldsrc engine feels, or enjoy the gameplay or Half-Life more than Half-Life 2. It's also a way to see what Half-Life 2 could have looked like in the limits of Goldsrc, if valve never developed the Source engine.

Dead Air
For: S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat
Dead Air is a full-scale S.T.A.L.K.E.R. modification based on Call of Chernobyl. It changes all aspects of the game, from graphics, audio, and special effects to various gameplay and AI features. The modification evolves from the ideas started in Call of Misery, a previous project from the mod’s author. Major inspirations for Dead Air have been projects such as NLC, MISERY, Autumn Aurora, and OGSE. Dead Air prioritizes the development of the game platform’s potential, gameplay complexity, and attention to detail, along with addressing both the quality and quantity of all content.

Fallout New Vegas Rising Sun Movie
So I enjoy stealth-based combat, which has resulted in me becoming a fan of the Splinter Cell series and games of similar gameplay, and I simply love when I can combine that with an RPG like Fallout NV. However, even though sneaking isn't a problem and I'm sure there are mods to improve the sneak system itself, I find one thing lacking: I can't use combat knives or daggers in stealth mode.Fallout New Vegas Rising Sun Lyrics
It's not that there's a bug or crash issue when using them. I simply feel guilty. No stealth based character takes a combat knife while crouching, takes the time to creep up on someone and, while there are enemies around, screams wildly while flailing a knife across their back while lunging towards them like a meth-addict. Seriously.![Vegas Vegas](https://www.gameinformer.com/s3/files/styles/body_default/s3/legacy-images/imagefeed/Fallout%3A%20New%20Vegas%20DLC%20Announced/newvegasdev5-610.jpg)
So my request is simple: If anyone would be kind enough to create such an animation mod, simply replace the one-handed weapon power attack to a simple stabbing motion. It should be a quick, relatively subtle stab, with the character leaning forward just a bit to get close enough for an attempted kill. Instead of a wild, over-the-head flail of the weapon, it should be a simple backwards-forwards motion with the character's arm.
I'm not sure if it's possible to change the animation only when crouching, but I'm perfectly content with this animation also replacing the standing power attack.
